Welcome to Yampa Valley Data Partners Community Indicators Tool. Community Indicators are based from our regional community vision and ask the question, “where are we in relation to our vision?” Indicators are data measurements that are descriptive, not prescriptive in defining the emerging issues of our community. When civic leaders and community leaders convene to take action on plans to make the community a better place, indicators come back into the picture by measuring the outcomes and results of those actions. An assessment process takes place and the question is asked “Are we closer to where we want to be as a community?”

JCCI model for community improvement

The Community Indicators Tool houses more than 300 data sets to help tell the story of our region in four categories: economic, environmental, civic and social. To view the community’s vision and key indicator findings in each of these areas, please click on one of the following categories.

The Community Indicators Tool tutorial is recommended before your first use of the tool.
